Alhamdulillah APMF berlangsung dengan jayanya. Fuh, memang penat tapi sangat2 berbaloi. Walaupun penat tapi terasa sangat gembira dan seronok kerana dapat pengalaman baru selain mendapat kenalan baru...paling syok bila dapat banyak business cards. Itu yg penting...mana tau ada keje kosong menanti...haha...
Some Info about APMF 08:
- The membership to the APMF represents various countries in Asia Pacific Region including: Australia, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, Bangladesh, Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, Vietnam, India, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Indonesia, and North America.
- APMF will be held in the Asia Pacific region every TWO years, with a different country taking responsibility for hosting the conference.
- The idea for the APMF was first mooted in 2001 by Prof. Dr. Dale Bagshaw, Director of the Centre for Peace, Conflict & Mediation at the University of South Australia, with support and encouragement from the World Mediation Forum Steering Committee. (She in the picture)
- This year APMF was hosted and organized successfully by Harum M. Hashim Law Centre, International Islamic University Malaysia. (We did best, alhamdulillah)
- The conference was held from 16th to 18th June 2008
- A week before that, the professional trainer had trained the selected participant for about 40 hours mediation training to qualified them as a mediator. Congratulations!..
- The inaugural conference was first held in 2001 at the University of South Australia, Adelaide.
Subsequently:
- Singapore in 2003
- Fiji in 2006
- Malaysia in 2008
- and India in 2010, insyallah!
