My dad has been admitted to the hospital. Up til now, he has been there for 6 days. I called him everyday to make sure he is in better condition. We talk, we laugh, we share stories about what has been going on here and there.
I'm happy to hear from him but i noticed his voice has totally changed. Sounds weak. Silently i cried. He never got sick. Not as bad as what he is suffering now. The last time i met him was a couple of weeks ago and he was perfectly in good health. He was in KL and later flies off to Terengganu participating seminars and workshops. He was so busy catching the datelines, meetings etc.
How many times have i told him to take rest? He did not want to listen. So stubborn yet so passionate about his work. Finish what you start - he used to say that. This coming November is his 50th birthday. He forgot, he is not young anymore.
My flight home is on 19th. One week from now. I wish i could make it earlier than scheduled. Dad has repeatedly said that he is ok and there is nothing to be worried about but i just can't stop asking how is he.
Oh dear Allah the Merciful, please take care of my dad. The only dad i have.
And Mom, be strong!

Thank you Sarah for the doa. Doctor said he will be discharged either today or tomorrow. Alhamdulillah.
