Lets talk about my sister.
We are still considering about which school she should enter. 2 choices in the hands; Chong Hwa Independent High School in Jalan Ipoh or Confucius High School which is located in Jalan Hang Jebat. So, which one?
You know, when it comes to making decision about someone's future; something which is uncertain, it is never easy. Take the risk or leave it. Now i start to understand what's our parents feeling whenever they have to choose the best for their children.
If we choose Chong Hwa means she has to retain in Form 2 instead of going to form 3. That's the condition given by the principle.
If we choose Confucius School means she can pursue form 3 without be transitioned to form 2. That's what we want. However, she's going to face hard time. Why? Its because she only have one year, in fact less than one year to catch up with all syllabus in the school to sit for UEC & PMR which is different from what she has learned in Riam School in Sarawak. Moreover, Confucius school has 6 years duration; form 1 to form 6 which is to be completed before the student is eligible to sit for UEC & SPM. Unlike Chong Hwa with 5 years of high school just like other normal school.
As for me, i think its good for her to study in Chong Hwa since its the best Chinese private school in the town. Chong Hwa has a bigger school compound compare to Confucius. Confucius is located in the middle of town (just next to Puduraya). As we know, the area itself is not very safe and not convenient for school kids especially a young teenager like her. This is what i am worried about.
...and many other things that struck my mind.
